The Hill Course is characterised by its wide, more open fairways and elevated positions, which provide sweeping views over the Norfolk countryside, the 18 hole course is also playable throughout the winter months. Its elevated nature and rolling terrain make for a true parkland or heathland experience, appealing to a wide range of players.
While often considered slightly more forgiving than its sister course, it is by no means easy, with its links-style influences, including windy conditions and strategically placed bunkers. A notable hole is the Par-5 5th, which starts from an elevated tee, providing an excellent scoring opportunity if players successfully navigate the strategic challenges placed mid-fairway.
Originally designed by Frank Pennink and later revised by renowned golf architect Donald Steel, this Par-71 course measures approximately 6,495 yards from the back tees.
