Barnham Broom Valley Course

Overview

The Valley is Barnham Broom’s flagship championship course recognised as the premium Norfolk golf experience, with a notable hole being the demanding 416-yard par-4 3rd, where the River Yare cuts diagonally across the fairway, forcing a critical tee shot and approach. Opened in 1977 and masterfully designed by renowned architect Frank Pennink, the Par-72 layout measures approximately 6,483 yards from the back tees.

The Valley is set along the flowing waters of the River Yare, the course is defined by its picturesque, strategic challenge. The design makes ample use of natural contours, tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, and numerous water features, demanding precision and strategic thinking over raw power.
