point for the Canary Islands. Whichever type of

Tenerife is a sunny paradise of an island and it is a
perfect holiday destination even without the Golf. The
southwestern part of the island is definitely the place
to be. It has the most action and various activities to
keep yourself entertained throughout your holiday. It is
also home to the most and best golf courses on the
island.
There is a vast selection of courses to try out on this
side of the island and they are top quality also. Abama
Golf is the standout course on the island and is even ranked in the top 35 courses in Spain. It
has stunning views over the water and is just a pristine
track. Buenavista Golf Course is a little further up the
coast but it’s definitely worth the journey as it is a
sensational seaside layout and is designed by the
golfing legend, Seve Ballesteros.
If you are looking for a vibrant nightlife then the area to
stay in is definitely Playa de las Americas. There are
plenty of restaurants, pubs, bars and discos to keep you
entertained all night. If you are looking for something a
little more tranquil and relaxing then the Costa Adeje is
definitely the spot for you.
There is an extraordinary number of things to do when
you are not on the golf course. Take a scenic hike
through Teide National Park and see the volcanic terrain of Mount Teide. If the heat gets
too much then take a day trip to Siam Park, which is a Thai themed water park in the Costa
Adeje. There really is a never ending list of things to do on the island when you’re not on the
course.
